Bio of the therapist

A Clinical Psychologist with the Egyptian Ministry of Health, working within the psychiatric units of the General Authority for Healthcare. He has over 10 years of experience in psychological assessment, psychotherapy, and behavioral interventions. He specializes in evidence-based second- and third-wave therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), for the assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, and psychological trauma. He also has specialized expertise in behavioral analysis and therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents.

He is currently a PhD researcher in Clinical Psychology and holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, a General Diploma in Mental Health, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Throughout his career, he has held several leadership and clinical positions, including Supervisor of Psychologists at the Mental Health Centers of El-Masalla Specialized Hospital and Director of Specialized Psychological Support within the Case Management Units for Child and Adolescent Risk Management in collaboration with UNICEF Egypt.

His clinical experience includes working as a Psychological Assessment and Treatment Specialist at Aswan Mental Health and Addiction Treatment Hospital and as a Psychotherapist and Behavioral Therapist at Khafda El-Awadi Specialized Hospital. In addition, he has provided specialized psychological support and psychotherapy services across multiple private mental health clinics.

Alongside his clinical practice, he has extensive experience in professional training and supervision through collaborations with the Egyptian Ministry of Health and UNICEF Egypt. He has trained mental health professionals in psychological assessment tools, case management, and various therapeutic approaches. He is also a certified trainer and therapist at South Valley University, where he provides counseling and psychotherapy services. Furthermore, he has delivered training programs and educational lectures for the Ministry of Social Solidarity on child and adolescent risk management, conducted public mental health awareness seminars at the Egypt Public Library, and continues to promote mental health awareness through educational content on social media platforms.
